Great leadership starts with good judgement.

Across search, assessment, succession and mapping, the same four disciplines keep the work clear.

  1. Start with the work.

Define the outcomes, context and trade-offs before discussing people, tools or familiar answers.

Every mandate begins with a clear view of what good leadership must accomplish here, not a generic profile.

  2. Look beyond the obvious.

Widen the field of view across markets, career paths, internal potential and alternative hypotheses.

The decision is not constrained by familiar names, conventional backgrounds or the strongest first impression.

  1. Follow the evidence.

Use structured inquiry, market evidence and assessment tools where useful to test the same questions consistently.

Evidence accumulates against a shared standard while judgement remains sensitive to the context.

  2. Say what we think.

Synthesize the trade-offs, name the risks and give a clear view of what the evidence means for the decision.

Decision-makers get a candid recommendation and the reasoning behind it, not a data dump.
